Circe waits on her island. A lone woman, a woman alone. A goddess, she has been outcast—and with centuries ahead of her to spend in isolation, she whiles away the endless hours by walking through the empty, perfect rooms of her house, sending messages to the outside world in the form of selfies, and knitting together spells to practice her sorcery. CIRCE is a contemporary, feminist, pandemic-core take on a classic Greek myth. It is an experimental short film, shot on digicam with a crew of one.
