Lizzie is an award-winning creative producer and filmmaker. She believes that softness is a strength across her process, craft and collaboration. 

Lizzie produced the feature film THE GREENHOUSE, which premiered at BFI:FLARE, won the Audience Choice Award at Mardi Gras Film Festival, and Best Film at The Gold Coast and Melbourne Queer Film Festivals. She produced the short film BIRDIE, which was one of the first shorts to be acquired by Fox Searchlight and has over 400K views online; and WHEN THE GROUND PAUSED, which premiered in competition at Toronto International Film Festival 2026.

BABY TALK, Lizzie’s debut narrative short film as writer/director, premiered in competition at the 2026 Mardi Gras Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Film and Best Director. BABY TALK won the Short Award at Adelaide Film Festival, and was selected to screen at Queerhub Film Festival, East London LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival and CinefestOz. Lizzie’s experimental short film CIRCE premiered at GRRL HAUS Best of 2021 in Berlin and screened at Video Art Experimental Film Festival in New York, Under the Radar in Austria and ReelGood Film Festival in Melbourne.

Lizzie’s strength is story development and collaborating with writers across form and genre. In 2025, she was selected as one of three international story editors for the TorinoFilmLab SeriesLab and participated in rigorous workshops across Europe to further hone her skills in story development. One of the projects she was working on, MADRE MIA, was awarded a TFL development grant.

Her development slate includes Thomas Wilson-White’s feature film, WILDFLOWERS; MELALEUCA, Jess Barclay Lawton’s debut feature film, which participated in the TIFF Filmmakers Lab 2021; and DADDY’S GIRL, a short film she will write and direct. 

In 2023, Lizzie was selected for the inaugural Platform Lab, an intensive development workshop supported by Sydney Film Festival. She was one of two practitioners selected for the Screen NSW Emerging Producer Placement in 2022, and one of Screen Producers Australia’s One To Watch in 2019. Across her career, Lizzie has received development, international film festival and market travel funding from Screen Australia and Screen NSW multiple times.

Additionally, Lizzie is one of the founders of independent production company Everyone We Know, and the development producer at Easy Tiger.
